We are hitting the road March 11 armed with a Harvest Hosts membership, a smart phone and a laptop we plan to take on Nevada, Utah and Colorado. But first we have to surmount one obstacle, getting the van. We pick up our ModVan in Oxnard, Ca on March 15 at 9:00 AM. After an orientation we head to Carpenteria State Beach for one night, then on to Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. The latter is first come first served so we will be winging it already on the second night. We plan to keep any interested family and friends informed of our whereabouts with this simple blog. Facebook is too public, and too commercial, and we realize not everyone cares where we are or what we are doing, even though FB thinks otherwise.
